Effective September 2, 2026
Level is built to need as little of your data as possible. This page describes exactly what we collect and why — no more than that.
1. What we collect
- Email address — to sign you in (via a magic link, sent through Resend) and to identify your account.
- Billing information — if you subscribe, Stripe processes and stores your payment details. We never see or store your card number; we keep only your subscription status (plan, renewal date, cancellation state).
- Alert preferences — if you enable alerts, we store the sports and edge threshold you chose so we know when to notify you.
- Local device storage — your theme choice and age-gate confirmation are saved in your browser’s local storage, not on our servers.
We don’t collect your name, address, phone number, or any prediction-market or sportsbook account credentials — Level never asks for or has access to those.
2. How we use it
Solely to run the service: authenticate you, manage your subscription, send the alerts you asked for, and send transactional email (sign-in links, billing receipts). We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
3. Who we share it with
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Resend — delivering sign-in and transactional email.
- Neon — our database host, where account and preference records live.
Each only receives what it needs to do its job. We don’t share your data with data brokers, advertisers, or anyone else. We may disclose account information if legally required to (e.g. a valid subpoena).
4. Prediction-market & sportsbook data
The odds and prices shown on Level come from public APIs (Kalshi, Polymarket, The Odds API). That data describes markets, not you — Level does not connect to, read, or store anything from your personal accounts on those platforms.
5. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account removes your email, subscription link, and alert preferences from our database; Stripe retains billing records as required by law and its own policies.
6. Your choices
You can turn off alerts or change your alert settings anytime from your account page. To delete your account and associated data, email us and we’ll process the request.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as Level changes. Material changes will update the effective date above.
